To celebrate black history month we will be showcasing works on paper by Nigerian artist and Rosetta Arts photography tutor Hajia Dahriu.
Inspired by our 2019 Newham Word Festival Artist Sana Amos's artwork, participants will create their own visual interpretations of 'Blackout Poetry' using pre-existing images and words to form a series of prints.
Join us in The Humble Gallery to watch a projection of Sana Amos's artwork followed by a hands-on printmaking workshop inspired by her 'Blackout Poetry'.
