Social Prescribing Day

Dates: Tuesday 18th March 2025
When: Wednesdays 10:00 – 13:45
Location: 1 Hamilton Road , West Ham , E15 3AE

We are writing to invite you to a day of action planning for cultural social prescribing in Newham. In collaboration with representatives from the Greater London Authority (GLA), London Borough of Newham, Arts Council England, London Arts and Health, St Margaret’s House (Bethnal Green), Cody Dock, The Line and Rosetta Arts.

This is an opportunity for social prescribing link workers, arts organisations, GP surgeries and policymakers to explore practical ways to address health inequalities through cultural social prescribing and the potential for building creative health alliances within local communities.

Lunch will be provided, and there will be time to network and find out more about Newham’s cultural and social prescribing activities.
Attendance is free but please sign up via the Eventbrite link.

** Please note, this event is only open to people living/working in Newham, and who work in Social/Cultural Prescribing.**

A: Connecting with local artists and mentorship from industry experts like Jeremy Deller and Craig Oldham has been invaluable.

**Q: What do you hope audiences take away from your talk?**
