Abstract Art Masterclass

Kimbal Bumstead is a multi-disciplinary artist based in London whose work spans from painting and drawing through to video and sound art, live performance and community-based participatory art projects.
This hands-on course takes the learner on a journey into the practice of transforming what we see and feel into art. Learners will be encouraged to develop their own visual language through experimentations with drawing and painting using a range of wet and dry media, as well as mixed media techniques.

Body Autonomy + Empowerment Mural

Skaped is offering a paid opportunity for 5 young people to join us for a full day of creating a Mural. Skaped is excited to collaborate with the Vagina Museum as part of their new community gallery project to create a collective mural! The event will take place on Saturday the 7th of December from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Vagina Museum in Bethnal Green.
Islamophobia awareness month in Newham
Dates: Thursday 7 November, 11am-1pm
Ages : Adults
Where: Junction of Romford Road and Green Street, E7 8AB.
Through a series of street photography sessions, explore public space and perceptions of Newham’s local streets. The photographer will invite participants to share experiences of using these public spaces and compile a series of photographs which reflect how differently we experience areas. This will lead to a visual exhibition about safety in Newham’s streets and displayed across Newham’s libraries.
