Smitha is a People professional with over 15 years of people management and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion experience. She has worked in the Private, Public, Creative and Charity sectors.

Smitha is a Newham resident!

She has volunteered as a mentor to support young people and refugees in East London, providing guidance and fostering growth. 

She has actively collaborated with Boards, Directors and Senior Leadership teams to create and implement strategies for positive change and actions. 

She graduated from the Black Culture Archives ‘Black on Board’ Training for Trustees. 

As an inclusion practitioner, Smitha has led numerous change programs for organisations, educating and training their workforce on barriers to access, valuing lived experiences, making reasonable adjustments, and taking positive actions.
