
Smitha is an Award Winning People professional with over 15 years of experience in people management and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI). Her career spans the Private, Public, Creative, and Charity sectors.
She has volunteered as a mentor supporting young people and refugees in East London, offering guidance and helping to foster professional growth.
Smitha has worked closely with Boards, Directors, and Senior Leadership Teams to develop and implement strategies that drive meaningful change and promote inclusive practices.
She is a graduate of the Black Cultural Archives ‘Black on Board’ training programme for Trustees.
As an experienced inclusion practitioner, Smitha has led numerous organisational change programmes, focusing on educating and training workforces around barriers to access, the value of lived experience, reasonable adjustments, and proactive inclusion strategies.
