The Rosetta Arts Secret Postcard Sale is back for 2021!
We know this past year hasn’t been easy for so many of us – but we also know that the arts can help us through the toughest moments and transform the lives. That’s why we need your generosity to help us ensure we can continue to offer incredible creative experiences to the diverse communities of Newham and wider east London.
How you can support us
We are looking for artists – both established and emerging – to donate a postcard artwork to our secret Christmas postcard sale.
All funds raised from the sale will help us reach those who otherwise have little access to the rich and transformative benefits of the arts and education.
How to donate a postcard artwork
Thanks for supporting our work. Here’s what you need to do next:
- Create a postcard size artwork and write your name on the back so that it won’t be visible while displayed
- Email us when your work is ready with the title of the work, the medium and a line of information about it
- Deliver or post your artwork to Rosetta Arts, 1 Hamilton Rd London E15 3AE by Friday 3 December 2021.
- If you can, let people know you have donated artwork (but not which one!) by sharing the word on social media with the hashtag #RosettaSecretSale. Don’t forget to tag us @rosettaarts on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter so we can share your posts too.
Key things to know
- The artworks will go on sale on Thursday 9 December 2021
- We will be thanking artists for donating postcards on social media BUT people won’t know the artist behind their artwork until they have purchased it
- Each postcard will be priced at £20 and all proceeds will support Rosetta Arts’ charitable work
- We intend to put every artwork we receive on sale, but we reserve the right to not sell or promote an artwork if it is deemed inappropriate for the sale
If you have any questions, get in touch with us by email.
