Rosetta Arts is looking for a kind, organised and motivated Deputy CEO to help lead our organisation. You will lead our finance, operations, fundraising and reporting to ensure an effective, resilient, sustainable and growing organisation.

Board of Trustees positions
In many ways trustees are the beating heart of a charity and occupy the space where strategy becomes operations; where mission and purpose are translated into action. At Rosetta Arts we expect our trustees to provide direction, scrutiny, support and advice at board meetings and in board subcommittees, which see trustees with the appropriate specialism, and the executive team, concentrating on issues that are central to the success of Rosetta Arts mission.

International Women’s Day event
Postponed to 25th April!
We are excited to collaborate with The East End Women’s Museum to present their new composition with the Guild Hall School. The piece will be written to be performed by an all female brass band and there will be some electronic music components, spoken word and singing. After the performance, the students will talk about their process, about what it’s like working in such a male dominated space.

Urban Gardening
Come to our Urban Gardening workshops to learn new green skills, get creative and make new friends!
For ages 0-100 (but please bring parents/carers with you if you need them!). April dates for your diary are the 6th and 20th, where we will be making bug hotels and paintbrushes! The sessions are open to everyone with no previous experience necessary.

Social Prescribing in Newham
At the end of March we were pleased to host a social prescribing session filled with enriching discussions, shared experiences, and actionable insights. From understanding the essence of social prescribing to exploring success stories and challenges, we delved into the heart of community wellbeing.
The key takeaways of the session:
– Definition and principles of social prescribing
– Benefits for healthcare and community wellbeing
– Social prescribing stories from us, St. Margaret’s House and English National Ballet
– Panel discussion on how we could enhance social-cultural prescribing
– Practical steps for implementation in Newham
Our courses will be open for social-prescribing referrals, withcourses specifically with a wellbeing focus will include block printing, photography, pottery, drawing, and embroidery.

Eastern European Photography Club: Newham Through Our Lens

In partnership with: Roma Support Group, Rosetta Arts, Culture Within Newham, Centrala and Arts Council England.
The Eastern European Photography Club: Newham Through Our Lens, is a photography club open to all, serving as a platform for Eastern European migrants in Newham to tell their unique stories through the art of photography and a safe space to share ideas and experiences.
This free club takes place at Beckton Globe Library on two Saturdays a month at 10:30 to 12:30. The first session will be on the 20th of Jan 24. To register fill in the form here
