Creative Health at Rosetta Arts

In early February we hosted a mindful arts training workshop held by Tim Segaller, cofounder of Rising Minds. The session was designed for art workshop leaders to apply mindful practices to their creative workshops to help students become more present and imaginative. The next mindful arts workshop will take place on May 21st, email marianne@rosettaarts.org to register your interest.
The workshop uses a mindful arts pack “See, Feel, Create: A Practical Guidefor Making Art”, inspired by mindfulness and nature. Designed by Sabba Kahn and Tim Segaller, this pack include art materials and an activity booklet that integrates mindful techniques with visual art practices. These will be available to purchase soon.

Thank you to everyone who came to the private view of our LGBTQIA+ History Month exhibition on Thursday! It was wonderful to see so many of the artists and of course the amazing work on display. Rosetta Arts is proud to champion the LGBTQIA+ community not just in History or Pride month, but all through the year.
The exhibition will run until the 21st of March, book your spot to visit here

International Women’s Day event

– Date for your diary, postponed to April 25th!
We are excited to collaborate with The East End Women’s Museum to present their new composition with the Guild Hall School. A 20 minute music piece with female students, the music is composed with feminist themes in mind, such as Rebellion, Stereotypes and Rage. The piece will be written to be performed by an all female brass band and there will be some electronic music components, spoken word and singing. After the performance, the students will talk about their process, about what it’s like working in such a male dominated space.
