“What does creativity mean to you?
It means that not everything has to be the same… ”
Last year, we invited young people from across Newham to ask what creativity means to them, and take part in a FREE day of exploration, learning and fun.
We weren’t prepared for how well it would go, with over 110 young people from all parts of the borough getting stuck in with activities led by 10 carefully selected creative professionals.

Following on from this success, we want to go bigger and better! So we’re delighted to announce BE CREATIVE! 2020 where up to 130 young people will be welcomed to Rosetta Arts to come and have a go at something creative with a real-life professional.
This year’s theme is: Music, Rhythm & Rhyme.
We will transform the space into a wonderland of creativity and connect with each other over art, performance, fun and food.
Our young guests can also help choose some of the creative activities that they would like to see happen in youth centres for the rest of the year and get clued up on the latest opportunities in Newham, including the brand new I Design My Future project, supported by the Mayor of London’s Young Londoner’s Fund.
Tell me more…
Come and have a great day exploring new things! There will be lots of food, fun and music – all at Rosetta Arts, which is a 5-minute walk from West Ham station.
The event will run from 10.30 until 3.30pm.
For more information, speak to your local Newham Youth Centre Manager or give us a call at Rosetta Arts, 0207 511 1117.
