You are invited to come and have a go at something creative as part in our free April Taster week at Rosetta Arts.
When? 10am-12pm (or until 1pm for those that want to stay for lunch) every day from Monday 11 April to Friday 15 April.
Art. Performing. Making. Film. Photography. Poetry. Dance. Mentoring
Want to try some Mindful Moves? Dazzle your friends with light photography? How about painting your own plant pots? Or have a go at writing poems and making a film?
We’re bringing you Newham’s best and brightest artists to get you inspired to try your hand at some different activities. This year’s theme will be: creativity and nature!
So, come along this Easter to see what we have to offer, meet new people and dig into some free pizza if you feel like staying for lunch.
Monday 11th April | Step into our darkroom and say ‘wow!’ as we introduce you to the wonders of light photography. You’ll also get a chance to explore portrait photography using natural props and plants (perfect for any Instagrammers out there) This class is perfect for 10+
Tuesday 12th April | Experimenting with painting and drawing the beauty of nature using different techniques. Paint your own plants, pots and we’ll even give you seeds to take home This class is perfect for 14 – 19 year olds.
Wednesday 13th April | Stay mindful and get moving. We’ll be using our bodies to explore movement through dance and discovering how this can help with our mental wellbeing. This class is perfect for 14 – 19 year olds.
Thursday 14th April | We’ll be painting and drawing as part of our Art Starts Classes. This class is perfect for 10 – 13 year olds.
Friday 15th April | Love movies? We’ll be uncovering all things movie-making and poetry on the last day of our tasters. This class is perfect for 14 – 19 year olds.
Where? All tasters will take place in Rosetta Art Studios at Gainsborough Learning Centre, 1 Hamilton Rd, London E15 3AE.
