Who is behind I Design My Future?

This is an exciting first partnership between Rosetta Arts, which has been embedded in the community in West Ham for 26 years, and Rinova, experienced specialist provider of programmes addressing barriers to entering work faced by disadvantaged young people.

About the Young Londoners Fund

The Mayor created the Young Londoners Fund to help London’s children and young adults make the most of our amazing city. The Mayor’s £45m Young Londoners Fund will help children and young people to fulfil their potential, particularly those at risk of getting caught up in crime. It will support a range of education, sport, cultural and other activities for children and young people. The fund will see £30m made available for projects in local communities. The remaining £15m will be invested to expand existing projects funded by City Hall that support young Londoners. We are one of the second group of projects to receive the Young Londoners Fund. The projects that have received this funding include everything from theatre groups and employability training, to football clubs and art sessions.

Inclusivity

Rosetta Arts prides itself on being open and available to all young people within the local community, including people from different cultural backgrounds, from disadvantaged backgrounds, at risk of isolation or anti social behaviour, and young people with different levels of ability or disability. Everyone will be treated equally, have equal input into Rosetta’s services and activities, and reasonable adjustments to activities will be made for individual needs.
