Look back at Be Creative! 2020

This year Be Creative! brought together nearly 100 young people from across Newham with 10 professional artists for a day of creative workshops, exploration and fun.

The event on 20th February welcomed 10-16 year-olds from different parts of the borough, they chose from a list activities in art, filming, dance, drama, photography, music and pottery. Check on our social media how the day went on using the hashtag #BeCreative2020.

Artists included award-winning filmmaker Luana Di Pasquale; Rada-trained actor Kyley Winfield; choreographer and dancer Letifah Brown; music educator Michelle De Jong; photographer Hajia Dahiru; pottery designer Jenny Schrowder; illustrator and painter Aisha Naim; and theatre consultant Jan Sharkey Dodds.
