For Children & Families:

HAF Art & Health Easter Club! | 3 – 14 April, Rosetta Arts Centre

Join us for a week of fun, movement, creativity & good food! We’re running an Easter Holiday club for 8 – 16 year olds that focuses on getting creative and healthy. Sign up for a four-day course of food-inspired dancing, yoga & more! We’re running our club for 8-11 year olds from April 3 – 6 and then for 11-16 year olds from April 11 – 14 of April. There are 30 FREE places for this club available for children who receive benefit-related free school meals and 3 paid places. So act fast! View our listings & book now!

Art Stars! | 22 April – 15 June, Rosetta Arts Centre

Our Spring Term of ART STARS! Art Saturday Schools for young people aged 8 – 12 is kicking off in April. Join us every Saturday at Rosetta Arts, ARTS STARS! offers a FREE, welcoming and inspiring place for children to develop their artistic skills across different mediums. On our first week back we’ll be offering refreshments and snacks to children and families that attend. Book your free place now!


For Adults:

Adult Art Classes | 24 April – 17 June, Rosetta Arts Centre

Our Spring Term of Adult Art Classes are starting in April. This term we’ve increased our ever-popular pottery offering with some spaces left on our daytime classes. We’ve also added new classes in Life Drawing, Mosaics and brought back our art classes for adults with SEND. Try your hand at a brand new creative hobby in a welcoming and social environment. Artist Accelerator Exhibitions | 4 – 8 April, The Lab E20

Rosetta Arts’ 2022/3 Artist Accelerators are holding a group exhibition entitled: ‘Solace in Nature’ accompanied by a series of workshops exploring nature & sustainability, & to celebrate their year of training and artist development with Rosetta Arts. The workshops & exhibition will be held at Lab E20 from the 4th-8th April.

Workshops details (all free):

  • Connecting to Nature by Husna Parvin | Tuesday 4 April: 12-2pm. Family-friendly workshop, study flowers to create bold and colourful paintings on fabric. Click here to sign up.
  • Cyanotypes: Printmaking with Flowers and Plants by Hajia Dahiru | Wednesday 5 April: Hajia Dahiru will guide you to create Cyanotypes (blueprints) using flowers, plants and natural light to produce these unique prints. Cyanotype is a unique and enjoyable process used to capture patterns, shapes and forms of objects or images from negatives using natural or UV lights. Click here to sign up.
  • Exploring Natural Dyes from Flowers, Plants & Food by Elena Juzulenaite | Friday 7 April, 6-8pm: Sustainable and eco-friendly workshop, participants will create patterns on fabric using eco-friendly materials. You will be shown how to bundle dye with real plants transferring their colours into fabric. Followed by an ink-making session where you will be shown how to make inks from food scraps and how to apply them to pieces of fabric. Click here to sign up.
  • Collaborate, Create & Make a Textile Artwork by Lottie McCarthy | 8 April, 2-4pm / 6-8pm: In this session, you can relax, unwind and enjoy afternoon tea while getting creative. You will stitch and sew pieces of fabric together to create a beautiful nature-inspired textile art/wall hanging that celebrates the community’s creativity. Click here to sign up for 2pm. Jasmine Engel-Malone’s Talk for Rosetta Arts Darkroom Launch | 18 April, 6.30pm | Rosetta Arts

To celebrate the re-launch of our newly refreshed photography darkroom, we’re hosting photographer Jasmine Engel-Malone for a talk. Jasmine is a German/American photographer and designer based in London, in this talk, Jasmine will discuss her unique style and how she developed it. The event is free but ticketed and spaces are limited. Book yours here!


For All Ages:

Design a Sensory Mosaic | 2 April, Stratford Library

We’re teaming up with Newham Council and other organisations in the locality to mark Autism Acceptance Week. Over 27 March – 2 April there’s a rich variety of events available for the autism community, residents and professionals, delivered across a range of locations. On Sunday 2 April, we’re running a sensory mosaics workshop that’s open to all at Stratford Library from 12.30 – 13.30. No booking required so just come along if you’d like to attend!

Rosetta Art Turns 30: Age is not Beige | 1 April & 3 April, Stratford Library

In collaboration with Frames of Mind, Rosetta Arts is running a digital art and portrait workshop exploring the language and imagery associated with age and ageing.
