We’re very excited to announce… Giants in Newham Art Competition! ❄️
Calling all young Newham residents, we want YOU to design your very own piece of merchandise that will be on sale for Newham’s first ever community pantomime ~ Jack & the Beanstalk 🌾 A production presented by Yellow Kangaroo Productions & Applecart Arts.
If you’re under the age of 25, love art and have a creative side, you can design it anyway you want, through pen and ink, collage, photography, textiles – you name it! Any Jack & the Beanstalk-inspired designs are welcome. If you win the competition you’ll receive a £200 prize + 25% of profit from merchandise sales*, so get creating.
Submit by Monday 14th November at noon by sending your design to admin@rosettaarts.org with the subject line “Giants in Newham”, your image (jpeg/pdf), contact details, the name of the artwork and the young artist’s name.
We’ll announce the winner on Thursday 17th November. The 10 runner-up entries will be exhibited at our Christmas Exhibition opening 6th Dec at Rosetta Arts (with entrants permission).
We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
*Prize in return for artistic rights. Rights will be given to Yellow Kangaroo theatre company to use your image in all forms of media, promotional material & merchandise related to “Jack & the Beanstalk” 2022/23. £200 prize and 25% merchandise profit payment to be made to the winner within 10 working days of the end of the Pantomime run.
