Celebrating Our Sisters
Black History Month is an annual celebration of the contributions made by Black African and Caribbean communities in the borough, nationally and internationally. The national theme for this year is ‘Celebrating Our Sisters’, spotlighting the achievements and successes of Black women who are often forgotten heroines.

Black History Month Exhibition at Rosetta Arts
This exhibition will showcase a diverse range of artwork submitted by talented artists from the local community. The exhibition will run from the 17th of October to the 10th of November, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Black communities. Book a slot via the Google Forms link

Rosetta Arts is thrilled to announce its new photography club!
The Eastern European Photography Club: Newham Through Our Lens, is a photography club open to all, serving as a platform for Eastern European migrants in Newham to tell their unique stories through the art of photography, and a safe space to share ideas and experiences.
The photography meet-ups are dedicated to sharing narratives and discussions around visual storytelling; documenting Newham from an Eastern European perspective, capturing everyday life, focusing on the themes of identity, and belonging, collective memory, and community voices. Whether you’re an experienced photographer or just starting out, join us in capturing our stories in Newham. Keep and eye out on our social media for more info and updates!
