Become a Young Maker and improve your art skills!

If you are aged 12 – 16, and would like to develop artistic skills, while having fun and meeting new people, then Young Makers is for you!

This Bronze Arts Award programme is made up of 2 terms of 10 weeks, you will be introduced to a range of fun and practical approaches to making art.

You will:

  • Participate in interactive art workshops to develop skills in drawing, pop art, journaling, pattern-making, sketching, creative-writing, and other creative areas.
  • Design parts of the course yourself! You tell us what youre interested in and well find someone in the field to come and lead a session.
  • Meet inspiring artists and practitioners to learn from and share ideas with.
  • Attend a field-trip to an art gallery, such as The National Portrait Gallery!
  • At the end of the course you will receive a Bronze Arts Award*.
  • Be the first to know about further art-based opportunities

I have a much better understanding of different types of art. I think having different types of art lessons was really helpful. I also made a lot more friends and I have a lot more skills in different art forms (tile-making, fashion design, filmmaking).

Course duration: 2 terms that are 10 weeks each, 20 weeks total

Fee: Free

Dates and times: Begins 3 May 2022, Tuesdays, 5 – 7pm. Summer term: 3 May – 12 July, Autumn term: 6 Sep – 15 Nov

Drop us an email on info@rosettaarts.org to find out more or reserve your space by filling out this form. Enrolment is essential so please make sure forms are filled in as soon as they are received.

‘Dear Daniel and Zoe, I am H’s mum. She has really been enjoying the art sessions through Zoom so far and was delighted to receive the art kit – thank you for the opportunity! It does shift the focus onto something altogether more enjoyable than what is around us so thank you so much again.’ –  Parent of a Young Maker
