Are you a qualified teacher, with a background in art, passionate about educating others about how to make a difference in the community?
We’re looking for an educator, ideally based in east London, to deliver two modules towards an SEG Level Two Community Organisation Award with an art focus.
The course involves preparing learners to develop their effectiveness in the application of the principles and practice of community organising by giving a foundation of knowledge and skills. The course will also provide an understanding of the values, principles and processes of community organising along with an introduction to some of the underlying theories which inform community organising practice.
Additionally, you will be required to adapt the details of the sessions to suit an art focus.
Overall the modules will be delivered over 32 hours: the time structure will be decided at your discretion.
You would be teaching at the Rosetta Arts centre in Hamilton Road
We are looking for educators that:
• Have at least a Level Three Teaching Award and approximately two years of experience.
• Are available to teach starting from mid-October during 2019
