Calling residents of Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Waltham Forest!
We would like to invite you to a free creative arts workshop and consultation session, exploring your feelings around COVID and a potential COVID commemoration.
If you would like to take part in person in your local area or on zoom, please register your interest here, and we will send you further instructions to the venue or the zoom link: https://forms.gle/tPeEcZYAEruUhoBDA
The workshops will take place in small groups in person (limited group sizes) and on Zoom from 5th October to 18th October.
Artists skilled in photography, visual arts, film and illustration will help you to share your stories and feelings.
Why is Rosetta Arts running these consultation sessions?
Many communities in East London have been, and continue to be, disproportionately affected by the pandemic, including key workers, young people, vulnerable groups, lower income groups and those from BAME backgrounds.
We would like to hear from you, as a resident of East London, about your story: how you have been affected, and what your experience has been during this pandemic.
A local artist will use creative techniques to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe environment and will tell you about a commemorative project that is being planned and ask how you think the project should be approached.
