Volunteer with us

Help bring creativity to life in your community.
Volunteers are an integral part of Rosetta Arts. They help us engage and inspire both individuals and community groups. Some of our volunteers have gone on to become paid members of staff at Rosetta Arts, or have been able to find work in other organisations after volunteering with us.

Volunteering is a great way to develop your skills, gain work experience and give back to your community; whilst supporting a grassroots arts charity like Rosetta Arts. You will also make new connections, personal and professional.
We welcome anyone who wants to get involved. For most of our volunteer roles, you don't require any special experience, qualifications or skills; as long as you're enthusiastic and passionate, we'd love to have you on the team!
Volunteering activities
- Visitor Experience for events, workshops and exhibitions
- Gardening
- Creative Learning
- Admin Support
- Organising and tidying and supporting DIY
- Assisting the teachers in the classrooms and/or the artists on the events (mostly asked for)
- If qualified, help the teachers with SEND students

Time commitment
We have 2 distinctive types of volunteering:
Regular volunteering
- A defined volunteering day, normally once a week or once every two weeks. This would be a long term commitment of 3 months or more.
Micro volunteering
- Dip in and dip out activities, with lower time commitments. This could be anywhere from a few hours to a few months, with most micro opportunities being around one day.
In return
Volunteers will receive £15 per session to recompense for travel and food expenses
If relevant, frequent volunteers will receive a free DBS check.
Depending on the time of the commitment, we might also offer:
- Offer you the same amount of your volunteering time as free studio time, access to pottery studio, access to darkroom
- 20% discount to enroll to any other courses available at Rosetta
- 20% discount of the Gallery hire
- Opportunity to get teaching experience by being in our courses and helping the tutors
