For the second year running, we’ve selected a group of local artists to receive financial, material and educational support throughout 2022 so that they can kickstart their creative careers, collaborate with one another and get involved in local initiatives.
Funded by Rosetta Arts, Get Living and Foundation for FutureLondon, each artist receives:
- A £1,800 bursary to help with the purchase of art materials and tools
- 12 months of studio space
- 12 hours of mentoring sessions
- Support and mentoring from arts professionals
Our 2022 artists work in a range of practices from architectural photography, to collage, pencil and paint. Each artist has a strong connection to arts education and the Newham area and will be working with us on local initiatives for young people throughout the year.
