Rosetta Arts are proud to announce that they have been named as a National Portfolio Organisation by Arts Council England for 2023-26.
After joining the Arts Council England National Portfolio of Organisations for the first time in 2018, whilst celebrating our 25th anniversary, it gives the charity great joy to be awarded the title just after announcing it’s 30th anniversary programming and celebrations. Despite Arts Council England receiving a record-breaking number of applications, Rosetta Arts was successful in this NPO round. An annual budget for £446 million was available in total for the selected organisations and Rosetta acknowledges the incredible hard work of all arts organisations who applied.
As a 2023-26 National Portfolio Organisation, Rosetta Arts will join the rest of the portfolio in helping Arts Council England deliver their ‘Let’s Create’ strategy, which focuses arts outreach strategically in areas that have been under-nurtured in the past. The London Borough of Newham was named a Priority Place from 2021-24 by Arts Council England. This successful uplift in funding will enable Rosetta to deepen our work in underserved neighbourhoods, working in direct partnership with local residents, organisations and creatives.
Sanaz Amidi, CEO of Rosetta Arts said:
“To receive the news that Rosetta Arts has been named a National Portfolio Organisation for the second term running is such a fantastic achievement. It really reflects our hard work and impressive reach. We’re incredibly excited to be celebrating this milestone as we ramp up for an exciting year of activities and projects – marking our 30th anniversary as an arts institution.”
Rosetta Arts continues to place art at the heart of communities, encourage cohesion and generate shared understanding and memories. We ensure that culture influences how people create and experience a shared civic identity and pride; allowing our hyper-local arts institution to make a strong contribution to the ‘Let’s Create’ strategy.
