Farewell to our trustee Anamaria Wills

A fond farewell to Anamaria Wills FRSA who has stepped down after serving as both a trustee and strategic advisor to Rosetta Arts over the last two years.

Anamaria is an award-winning practitioner with over 30 years’ experience working in the creative sector, including at the National Theatre, the Old Vic and the Arts Council.

She helped Rosetta Arts gain a successful bid for Arts Council England National Portfolio status in 2018, and played a key role in expanding its presence internationally through projects such as Tendem Europe, and locally through the Be Creative! project with Newham’s Youth Services aimed at building emotional resilience in young people.

Rosetta Arts Chief Executive Sanaz Amidi said: “Anamaria’s contribution to Rosetta Arts has been enormous. She has been instrumental in helping us transition from a small arts centre to a recognised player in the arts sector, while never losing site of the need to preserve our grassroots focus on the diverse communities of Newham and our aims of improving wellbeing and unlocking creative talent. She will be sorely missed.”
