The 22nd of June marked the 75th anniversary of the symbolic journey of the Empire Windrush from Jamaica to London, and we were proud to mark the occasion with a rehang of the Women of Windrush exhibition, curated by Trisha McCauley with photographs by Bethany Peters. if you missed it last year, here's your chance to see it again!

The portraits are part of a wider project which celebrates the stories of "ordinary" women who came to the UK during the Windrush era and their descendants. the project endeavorus to increase the visibility of female artists and creative entrepreneurs of Caribbean heritage and highlight their contribution to modern British history.

If you were eagle eyed you might have spied Trisha on Channel 4, who popped in for an interview!

The show is on in the Humble Gallery until the eighteenth of August. If you are unable to pop in, you can view our virtual gallery here
