Wheel Throwing Pottery Course
A friendly course provides a step-by-step introduction to wheel throwing.
5 weeks | Mondays & Tuesdays 6:30pm - 8:30pm | £150
Course overview
Whether you’re touching clay for the first time or you’ve been practicing in a home studio for years, this course is built for you. Our wheel throwing course is designed to meet you exactly where you are. We’ve moved beyond a "one-size-fits-all" approach to offer a flexible class that grows with you, helping you sharpen your skills and find your own creative style.
For New Potters: We’ll get you comfortable with the basics learning how to center the clay, open it up, and pull up the walls to make your very first bowls and mugs.
For Developing Potters: If you’ve already mastered the basics, we’ll help you go bigger and better. We’ll focus on getting more height, making your pieces more consistent, and trying out new, more difficult shapes.
The Finishing Touches: Everyone will learn how to trim their pieces for a professional look and experiment with different glazes to make their work pop.
