10 weeks of creativity, confidence and artistic discovery

About the Course

Art Stars is a 10-week drawing and painting course designed to help children explore their creativity, develop practical art skills and discover the joy of making.

Across the course, your child will experiment with a range of exciting materials and techniques, including pencils, pastels, watercolours and acrylic paints. Through fun, engaging projects and observational studies, they’ll learn how to really look at the world around them, develop their artistic skills and build confidence in their own creative ideas.

Over the 10 weeks, children will be encouraged to:

• Develop their drawing and painting skills
• Explore line, shape, colour, tone, texture and composition
• Work from observation and develop their visual awareness
• Experiment with different artistic materials and techniques
• Learn how to look closely, make artistic choices and solve creative problems
• Build confidence through creative exploration

Each class is carefully designed and led by Jade Su-Yun Armstrong, who delivers arts-based education in a range of schools, nurseries and Montessori settings.

Whether your child already loves to draw and paint or they’re simply curious to try something new, Art Stars is a place to explore, create and grow.
